A bookshelf, a humblebrag, a humble cause
An editorial wall of works by authors I share mutual recognition with on a certain blue-tinted application formerly known as Twitter. Every affiliate dollar buys a book for the Apex Learn community library, where neighbors borrow what they cannot yet afford.
Over a decade on X, I've followed something close to a thousand thinkers — scholars, founders, traders, philosophers, journalists, contrarians — and engaged thirty-thousand-odd times with their thoughts. Some of them followed back. The wall above is what their bookshelves look like.
Each book links to its Amazon page through my Associates tag apexlearn07-20. Every commission goes, in full, to purchase books for the Apex Learn community library — a small lending shelf in our Research Triangle Park office where neighbors check out volumes for free.
Yes, this is partly a humblebrag. I am at peace with it. If a book on this wall has changed your thinking, tell its author. They're still on X. Probably refreshing.
